Jim's Review

🐛
Faux is the journalist who broke the Tether story and spent the 2021 crypto bubble interviewing every grifter and true believer he could find — including Sam Bankman-Fried in the Bahamas, weeks before the FTX collapse. This is the schadenfreude book, and it's an absolute page-turner. The chapters on Cambodian pig-butchering scams, Tether's mystery reserves, and SBF's parenting are the most damning crypto reporting in print. Five worms — but read it together with The Bitcoin Standard for balance. Both the bull case and the bear case are partly true.
