Jim's Review
🐛
Mezrich wrote The Accidental Billionaires, which became The Social Network. This is the sequel, basically — the same Winklevoss twins, now turning their Facebook settlement into the largest Bitcoin holding outside the FBI's seized coins. The pacing is breathless, the dialogue is reconstructed, and the whole thing reads like a movie treatment, which it probably is. Don't read this for accuracy — read it for the vibes. The early Bitcoin scene was as wild as Mezrich makes it sound, and his portrait of the twins as redemption-seeking outsiders is genuinely sympathetic. Four worms. Pair with Digital Gold for the journalist's version of the same era.
