Best Reading Order
Each novel stands on its own, so you can start with any of them. Reading in order adds small rewards, since each narrator first appears in an earlier book, and The Likeness follows on most closely from In the Woods.
In the Woods ends with some questions deliberately unanswered. Readers who want a fully solved case might start with Faithful Place or The Trespasser.
