Jim's Review
🐛
DeGroot and Schervish wrote the probability textbook that actually makes Bayes' theorem click. Jim appreciates that they don't pick sides in the frequentist vs. Bayesian debate — they teach both, and let you decide. The examples are clear, the exercises are plentiful, and the progression from probability to statistics is seamless. It's a thick book, but you'll reference it for years. Four worms — the gold standard for prob and stats.
