Jim's Review

🐛
Jane Eyre is the original "I don't need anyone's approval" protagonist, and Jim is absolutely here for it. Bronte created a heroine who refuses to be a doormat in an era that practically demanded it. The gothic atmosphere at Thornfield is so thick you could worm through it, and that plot twist still hits hard nearly two centuries later. This book burrowed its way into the literary canon for very good reason.
