Jim's Review
🐛
More dragons, more danger, more Violet-and-Xaden drama and, at 640 pages, a lot more of everything. The training sequences are brutal and the world finally widens beyond the college walls. But the middle sags under repetitive relationship arguments, and the book could lose a hundred pages without missing much. Content note: explicit scenes, torture and violence. Three worms — essential for fans of Fourth Wing, a slog for the merely curious.
